Mr Mark Ferguson and Ms Catherine Rennie attended the prestigious Endoscopic Endonasal Skull Base Surgery Course at the University of Pittsburgh from 3–6 November 2024. This internationally recognised programme brings together world leaders in anterior skull base surgery for an intensive four day schedule of lectures and live surgical demonstrations.
The course covered the full spectrum of endoscopic skull base approaches, including transcribriform, transplanum, transsellar, transpterygoid and transclival techniques, alongside advanced reconstruction strategies. Participants received handson guidance from the pioneering Pittsburgh faculty, whose work has shaped modern endoscopic skull base practice.
